  • Title: Bridge From The Past
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Greece
  • Nearest Area: Close to Agnanta village and Dafnoti village
  • Nearest Town: Arta
  • Brief Directions: Around 40 Kms N-NE from Arta town, as you heading towards Tzoumerka mountains (probably the most wild in Greece)you reach to the lowest part of the narrow road over the angry Arahthos river (crossing over an old Belley bridge)you find after a couple of Kms on the left the Plakas Bridge.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: I wanted to capture images of the Histrical Stone Bridge of Plakas (among the biggest in span and height old stone bridges in Europe). It was raining and fairly dificult to shoot standing on the river banks under the umbrella.A few shots were taken and this one was at 1/60sec ISO 160 and 35mm focal length.

Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!

That moose is a "spike" i.e. a very young juvenile, probably on his first year away from mom. His antler's will fill out further in the next few years.
