Potter's Marsh

  • Title: Potter's Marsh
  • State/Province/Region: Alaska
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Cook Inlet
  • Nearest Town: Anchorage
  • Notes: 1/40th sec, f/16, ISO 500, 16mm. Single exposure, finished in Lightroom 5 and Phototshop CS5.
  • Description: Not all Alaska is huge, there is also subtile and quiet beauty. Potter's Marsh at the start of the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet near Anchorage is such a spot. Rainy and overcast skies brought no complaints from me - fine light and glowing colors all day long were well worth missing sunrise and sunset.
  • Gear: Canon 5DMII, 16-35 f2.8, Hoya Polarizer, Singh-Ray 2stop Hard Grad ND, Induro Tripod.

I'm with you Laura! Always enjoy time spent along the seashore! I look forward to enjoying more of your La Jolla and Torrey Pines seascape images.` A most beautiful area there along the coast!
