  • Notes: The area is under the Aurora Oval and the displays are spectacular. The best times are from September to March. The temperatures at night are 30-50 below zero. During the day there is opportunity to photograph wildlife and the Brooks Range. Scenic flights are available as well as snowmobiles, cross country skis and dog sled rides.     Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.
