Waterfall Sunset Light

  • Title: Waterfall Sunset Light
  • State/Province/Region: Alaska
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Ketchikan
  • Nearest Town: Ketchikan
  • Brief Directions: Hiking up the mountain along side the waterfall I came across this images just as the sun began to set behind the waterfall. Standing in the middle of the creek I was able to set up my tripod and take a few frames before the sun disappeared behind the trees.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: Ketchikan, Alaska is home to the northernst rain forest in the United States. This gives an amazing opportunities to photograph waterfalls and other waterscapes. The waterfall you see in this picture crosses a road, however, the trail to the top where I took this images is hidden within the forest making it hard to find.
