Moon Over Dry Lakebed

  • Title: Moon Over Dry Lakebed
  • State/Province/Region: Arizona
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Southern Arizona south of I-10
  • Nearest Town: Wilcox
  • Brief Directions: I-10 to Wilcox Az. The lakebed is SW of Wilcox.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: This ancient Lakebed West of Wilcox Az is dry most of the year. During the monsoon season there can be maybe a couple of inches of water over the entire area. If you do go onto the lakebed you might get stuck, even when it looks dry. Cars and trucks have been lost in the mud here. The southern area of this bed was once used as a bombing test range.

Could not understand the low rating you got on this true beauty. So relaxing and peaceful. Nice work Erno! Lorenzo
