Description: The photo was taken as I hiked out from a 5 day backpacking trip into Horseshoe Mesa and Cottonwood Canyon on the Grandview Trail of the Grand Canyon. While there, it rained in the inner canyon and left a covering of snow at the higher elevation of the South Rim.
