Canyon Fire

  • Title: Canyon Fire
  • State/Province/Region: Arizona
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: North rim lodge
  • Nearest Town: Jacob lake
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: The most magical thing about the summer monsoons over the grand canyon is the dramatic light it can bring at any moment. During this evening on Point Sublime, a storm front was moving northeast which put the clouds right in front of us for a beautiful sunset. With the setting sun reflecting the warm colors onto the canyon, the few watching this event sat in awe. Truly a spectacular moment over one of my favorite national parks.
