  • Brief Directions: Follow State Highway 180 west for about 10 miles, then turn right on Forest Road 151.
  • Notes: 1/4 second, 35 mm (52 mm equivalent), f20.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: It's always nice to photograph autumn colors, but I wanted to capture the dynamic intensity of this time of year. So I handheld my camera and moved it upward during a 1/4 second exposure.
  • Gear: Nikon D800 + 16-35 mm Nikkor FX lens

    David, My favorite NP and I regret not getting there this summer. Very nice image with reflection of the sun struck Hallet Peak and anchor boulder in the foreground. I don't think it will look...
