Mcdowell Mountain Sunrise

  • Title: Mcdowell Mountain Sunrise
  • State/Province/Region: Arizona
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Town: Scottsdale
  • Brief Directions: Hwy 101 in NE Phoenix, exit at Pima Road, head East on Bell.
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Description: Backlit Cholla cactus at the foothills of the McDowell Mountains. I waited several months for the sun to rise at this spot, wouild rise farther south during winter. The moment the sun rose I had roughly 30 seconds to capture the 4 images needed to blend for this final outcome, because the sun rises FAST down here!
