  • Notes: The wind was blowing about 30 miles an hour so keeping the tripod steady was a challenge. But like all of us amateurs you take what nature gives you because you probably are not returning any time soon. Too much to photograph and too little time to do it!

  • Description: To reach this location you walk up a steep incline of sand to you come to this spectacular view of Navajo sandstone. You are looking over the edge at a 1000 foot drop to the bend of the Colorado River.
  • Gear: Feisol tripod, canon 7D , Polarizing filter, 17-85 canon lens

    Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!
