  • Description: During recent cold weather, large formations of icicles had formed on sandstone cliffs in a rock climbing area. After a few days of warmer temperatures they started to melt and crashed to the rocks below. This is a photo of sunlight shining into a broken piece of an icicle which is reflecting the light within it.

    Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.

    Wow, just beautiful! The light is perfect and I love the curve of the tree and the lines of the canyon wall.
