Paying Homage To The Wind

  • Title: Paying Homage To The Wind
  • State/Province/Region: California
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Los Padres National Forest
  • Nearest Town: Santa Ynez
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Description: Storm systems can often provide magical opportunities for landscape photographers. The down side to that is that it often means enduring extreme weather conditions, especially in sprint. I wanted to capture the motion in the grass and trees created by the 40 mile and hour winds. The trunks of the trees provide a nice anchor in a scene depicting so much movement.

"Absolutely in the right place at the right time". So very rare to see a double rainbow let alone have your camera with perfect glowing conditions.. Great capture
