  • Brief Directions: From Baker, CA, Go north on Hwy 127, then west on 178 toward Death Valley National Park. Salsberry Pass is at the southern tip of the park.
  • Notes: The spring bloom is usually from mid Feb. through mid April. The orange on the bur sage bush, is a fungus, called dodder. It attacks the bur sage, eventually killing it. It occurs after an especially wet summer and winter.
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Gear: Plenty of water, and dust covers for eqipment
