Pigeon Point Lighthouse

  • Title: Pigeon Point Lighthouse
  • State/Province/Region: California
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Bay Area
  • Nearest Town: Bay Area
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: This Lighthouse is just a few miles south right after Pescadero. Once in a month on Saturdays they put on the light at 8 pm and you have a whole flock of photographers trying to capture its beauty. This is a good place to checkout during mid April because you can spot few Whales swimming North towards Alaska, and you have people sitting there enjoying the nice bright sunshine and taking photographs .. Its quite scenic

Beautiful image Valerie! Wonderful contrast/color between the snow and canyon/sky. Always nice to see snow in the canyon!
