  • Brief Directions: 210 Freeway east, exit Altadena and turn left on Altadena until you reach Eaton Canyon Nature Center.
  • Notes: I know it's not the Sierras, but outside the city of Pasadena you can find some beautiful places like Eaton canyon Waterfall located in the Angeles National Forest. The best times are in the spring and winter when the water is running, though the water is usually running all year round with a different debit.
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Gear: Hiking boots and a tripod
