  • Description: The skeleton of an ancient juniper rests on a granite ridge line, above tree line in the Desolation Wilderness Area. To the north are the Crystal Range, Pyramid Peak, Lake Aloha, and Mosquito Pass.

    Very colorful capture David! I agree, it's a great place to visit/photograph. It's a shame that the "middle bridge" gave way. Would have been neat to work with the entire area. Still a fabulous...
