Vasques Rocks-los Angeles County Park
Photo By William Bradley Brown Iii

  • Title: Vasques Rocks-los Angeles County Park
  • State/Province/Region: California
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Hwy 14
  • Nearest Town: Santa Clarita/ Palmdale
  • Brief Directions: located off hwy 14 at the Agua Dulce exit between Santa Clarita and Palmdale California.
  • Notes: Late winter seems to be the best time for visiting the park to avoid the rattlesnakes that inhabit the area but it can be cold. Climbing on the rocks is fun and they have been used in numerous t.v. shows and movies including the original Star Trek television series. Beautiful picture opps everywhere you look.

Love your shot. Takes me back to my youth on the farm, I can smell the corn field.

Thank you very much, Lorenzo! I was pretty happy to see those clouds coming in from the west as I was quickly setting up pre-sunset to get this side of the lighthouse. Thank you! --Jim--
