  • Brief Directions: From I5 in Redding go E/B on SR44 to the entrance to Lassen Park. SR89 travels through the park. Manzantia Lake is just inside the entrance.
  • Notes: This is a small lake with beautiful opportunities almost all year. Winter closes the park and the lake freezes over. Spring Mt. Lassen is usually snow covered. Fall brings great color to the trees around the lake. There is almost always a reflection.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Gear: ND, polarizer filters

    Very colorful capture David! I agree, it's a great place to visit/photograph. It's a shame that the "middle bridge" gave way. Would have been neat to work with the entire area. Still a fabulous...
