• Description: Hiked multiple days in a row through the rain along cliffs to the same location until the weather conditions finally satisfied me. First hike was accompanied by wind and rain so strong that rain droplets were actually flying upwards because of the winds gusting through the fjords. I sat in astonishment as droplets of rain flew in the opposite direction right before my eyes. Truly a phenomenon that only presents its self with the right conditions. I first saw a shot of this location when i was 14 years old and on that day i vowed to put a bit of spare change aside each year until i have enough to witness its beauty with my own two eyes. Five years later i found myself in Europe and decided there is no way i was leaving that continent without photographing Norway, this is the end result. I give thanks to my buddy Alex for being such a patient trooper and posing for me. Norway and this location will truly always be in my heart.
