Flatirons Vista Trail

  • Title: Flatirons Vista Trail
  • State/Province/Region: Colorado
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: I-93
  • Nearest Town: Golden
  • Brief Directions: From Golden drive North on I-93 for about 10 miles. There is a wooden fenced carpark just to the left of the roadway.
  • Notes: This place really shines when it's covered in snow. It offers a lot of opportunity to create some great tele-landscapes with criss-crossing hills and stark trees. When the wind whips up the snow, it takes your breath away, just don't get knocked over by a gust in the process.
  • Best Season: Winter
  • Gear: Telephoto lens & Snowshoes
