  • Description: My father goes with me on most of my photo trips. It is valuable to have someone else doing the driving so I can keep an eye out for photo spots. On our fall colors trips to the South West corner of Colorado my dad has talked about how when he was younger he worked at the Telluride Mine. He showed me the mine and talked about what it was like working inside the mountain. He also showed me the bar he and his brother use to play pool at in the town of Telluride. These photo trips allow me to get to know things about my dad that I didn’t know. Getting the shots is important but learning more about your family and their history is priceless.
