Broad Tail Hummingbird

  • Title: Broad Tail Hummingbird
  • State/Province/Region: Colorado
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Rocky Mountain National Park
  • Nearest Town: Estes Park
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Description: We were hiking Saturday in RMNP, on our way to Cub lake, we were taking pictures in the burned out area along the trail. we spotted something green among the charred wood. I believe it is a broad tailed hummingbird. Very exciting. While we took hundreds of Elk Shots yesterday, this was by far the most exciting to me

Beautiful stream/waterfall image Duane! The lighter colors in the background drew my eyes through the entire image. Must be a wonderful place to spend time photographing!
