Above The Road

  • Title: Above The Road
  • State/Province/Region: Colorado
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Colorado National Monument
  • Nearest Town: Fruita
  • Description: As we winded around the top of the Colorado National Monument road I pulled the car over to take a peek back down the mountain we had just climbed. As I knelt down to peer over the edge these bushed kept getting in my way. So I got even by capturing them on my camera. With the bush in the foreground it made the rest of the world seem so small. I cant be but a little Jealous of the view that it has 24/7.

Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!

That moose is a "spike" i.e. a very young juvenile, probably on his first year away from mom. His antler's will fill out further in the next few years.
