Description: High between glaciated peaks of the San Juan Mountains lies a few sparkling blue lakes, Upper and Lower Blue Lakes. The are ususally very photogenic in the summer when the wildflowers bloom but their color shows off that much stronger against the orange-brown of the fall tundra colors.
