Window Pane

  • Title: Window Pane
  • State/Province/Region: Connecticut
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Hawk's Table Nature Preserve
  • Nearest Town: Scotland
  • Description: Early January 2013 provided weeks of early morning near zero temperatures. Upstairs rooms of an old colonial provided elaborate gardens of frost filled window pane gardens in rising morning light. It is always amazing for me to see the world rewritten fractally, miniature versions of the world we know on a larger scale. This morning each window pane seemed to be paintings of fern filled gardens.
