The Reflections Of The Day Past

  • Title: The Reflections Of The Day Past
  • State/Province/Region: Delaware
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Town: Lewes
  • Notes: ISO was 800, aperture was f/5.6 w/ a shutter speed of 1/4, no flash, was in the Landscape mode, w/ an auto exposure, focal length was 40mm
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: This is the Lightship Overfalls, that is presently on permanent display in the canal in Lewes (LEW-is) Del. It had served at the Boston Harbor for many years. We had been having dinner and watching the sunset at a restaurant on the canal and as we were leaving I saw this and just lifted up the camera & snapped this photo and a few others. I just loved the way the lights reflected in the still waters of the canal.

Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!

That moose is a "spike" i.e. a very young juvenile, probably on his first year away from mom. His antler's will fill out further in the next few years.
