  • Brief Directions: Take interstate 75 to the Bushnell Florida exit and head east follow the signs to Dade Battlefield Historic State Park.
  • Notes: Initially, the adult female was very defensive of the nest. Even adopting a fighting stance when the lens came too close. After subsequent secession over several days she was not threatened by the camera and allowed closer access.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: This is an adult female Green Lynx spider tending her nest of offspring. The photographs were taken over several days and each secession was brief to avoid undue stress to the adult. See notes.
