  • Brief Directions: Located 15 miles northwest of Dawsonville on Ga. Hwy. 52. Take Hwy. 53 west to Hwy. 183 north to Hwy. 52 east
  • Notes: Amicalola Falls is a 729 foot waterfall in the mountains of North Georgia. It is accessible by a paved 0.3 mile trail that follows the creek up to the falls. The best time to shoot is of course early in the morning while the light is soft enough for long exposures, and before the park gets crowded.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Gear: Tripod, wide angle lens

    Thanks Alena and David! I took a lot of shots of this landscape, but placing a person in the shot imparted the sense of amazement and exhilaration I was trying to capture. Merry Christmas!
