  • Title: Amicalola Falls State Park
  • State/Province/Region: Georgia
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: GA Hwy 52

  • Brief Directions: Located 15 miles northwest of Dawsonville on Ga. Hwy. 52. Take Hwy. 53 west to Hwy. 183 north to Hwy. 52 east
  • Notes: Amicalola Falls is a 729 foot waterfall in the mountains of North Georgia. It is accessible by a paved 0.3 mile trail that follows the creek up to the falls. Thank you very much, Lorenzo! I was pretty happy to see those clouds coming in from the west as I was quickly setting up pre-sunset to get this side of the lighthouse. Thank you! --Jim--
