Rock Meets Ocean

  • Title: Rock Meets Ocean
  • State/Province/Region: Hawaii
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Hanauma Bay
  • Nearest Town: Hawaii Kai
  • Notes: Added a UV fliter to my lens. This are is a prime spot with tourists. Weekends and holidays are the busiest. Parking is limited. This particular look out has a small geyser at its location. There is access to a small tucked in beach. The trail to the beach is slightly steep and also a prime spot for tourists. Have not been here for sunsets or sunrises as of yet. Will say the drive is spectacular, one of the best drives on the island. This section of the drive has approximately three look out points.
  • Description: This is at a scenic look out point inbetween Hanauma Bay and Sandy's Beach on the East part of Oahu past Hawaii Kai.
  • Gear: Nikon D40 SLR- 55mm-200mm lens

Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!
