  • Nearest Town: Lihue
  • Brief Directions: Stay on 56 past Wilcox hospital. It is the first road on the right at the bottom of the hill past the hospital if you are heading to Hanamalua. Follow that road to the end and there is the falls.
  • Notes: Get there early in the morning just as the sun is coming up. Photograph from the top of the falls, then hike down a steep trail and photograph the falls from the bottom or go swimming in the hole.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Gear: Tripod, self-timer or cable release, good shoes for hiking.
