Bamboo Forest

  • Title: Bamboo Forest
  • State/Province/Region: Hawaii
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Highway 360
  • Nearest Town: Paia
  • Brief Directions: Take the Hana Highway towards Hana from Kahului for about 45 Miles, pull off the side of the road when you see the Bamboo Forest on the right. Find a small opening in the Bamboo and follwo the path for about 1/2 mile.
  • Notes: An adventure I won't forget to get lost in this thick bamboo forest just off the road to Hana. The green color reflected everywhere, and the sound of the tops of the bamboo stalks knocking each other was just amazing.

I like the realism of your image. So many now are not realistic. The composition is great and just the right amount of post processing. Beautiful.

Beautiful rich colors Carla! Always love seascape images! Very nice blend of the sand/rocks/water!

Thank you kindly Laura! I'm sorry for not responding sooner, as it's hard to get to a computer right now. I always enjoy the Spring with wonderful colors. I look forward to sharing some new Spring...
