  • Brief Directions: Take I-90 going east out of Coeur d'Alene, which overlooks the lake, and take the last exit at the east end of the lake to Meneral Ridge.
  • Notes: This is a favorite spot for seeing these majestic birds in action as they feed on the fish that are in abundance during the last months of the year.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: Lake Coeur d' Alene in Idaho is a great place for photographing bald eagle's. They migrate in from October through January. Often as many as 200 are counted. A common spot for viewing and taking pictures is near Meneral Ridge which overlooks the lake from the North East corner.
