East Fork Of The Owyhee River Canyon

  • Title: East Fork Of The Owyhee River Canyon
  • State/Province/Region: Idaho
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Duck Valley Indian Reservation
  • Nearest Town: Owyhee NV
  • Brief Directions: Take Idaho state hwy 51 and turn just over the Nevada border heading west. Go to Garat Crossing. There are no signs so a good map (or topo map) will be required. The roads ultimately get rocky and high clearance may be required.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: This is a remote section of canyon in Owyhee County. There are numerous canyons throughout this area and all are equally remote and spectacular. Autumn is the best time for both weather and road conditions.
  • Gear: Canon 30D and 24-105L

perfect balance between shadow and light, as well as the plant's rhythm in the scene.

Was just in the area of Valley Park, Fenton, and Hillsboro Missiouri in November before the storm. Got to love the trees, and your image tells the story perfectly...
