  • Notes: The arboretum is a 1700 acre outdoor museum of trees and plants from around the world spread over rolling hills.Miles of one way driving roads and foot trails wind through open woodlands, oak savannas and prairies. Streams meander through the preserve joining small lakes and ponds. Wildlife is ofter encountered with frequent visitors such as winged raptors, coyote and deer. The Arboretum has a large visitors center with a library and is an internationally known research and education center.

    David, My favorite NP and I regret not getting there this summer. Very nice image with reflection of the sun struck Hallet Peak and anchor boulder in the foreground. I don't think it will look...
