First Rays Over Lake Marmo

  • Title: First Rays Over Lake Marmo
  • State/Province/Region: Illinois
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Morton Arboretum
  • Nearest Town: Lisle
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: Lake Marmo over at the Morton Arboretum has been a favorite place among the photographers especially during Fall and Spring. This morning, As I headed over there I saw the moon and had some idea about how to catch the first light of the day over the foliage across the Lake and the moon at the same time. While, most photographers headed across the lake, I went the other way.

Beautiful stream/waterfall image Duane! The lighter colors in the background drew my eyes through the entire image. Must be a wonderful place to spend time photographing!
