  • Title: Strokes Of Brilliance
  • State/Province/Region: Illinois
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Lakeview
  • Nearest Town: Chicago
  • Brief Directions: Near Addison and Ashland, Chicago IL
  • Notes: I used the macro setting on the Sony DSC-T77 under heavy light from the sun. It took a while, but I got it.
  • GPS Longitude: -87.669289
  • GPS Latitude: 41.949804
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: Centaurea Cyanus Also known as Bachelor Button flower. They grow once a year near my home at neighbor's garden. One close look at this flower and I was mesmerized. I took one hundred photos and this one portrays best what it represents. It is like a painting that is not to be understood.

Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!
