  • Description: With the sun setting and this sunset beginning to show, I raced down Louisiana 82 to get to this area where I knew there was water and a reflection off the sky. What I didn't understand was the magnitude of this sunset as it blew away all expectations. Alligators were swimming all over the top of the water, and mosquitos were sucking me dry, but it was worth it!
  • Brief Directions: Take Louisiana 82 from the Texas border, cross the Cameron ferry, then procede another 40 or so miles. There are some small towns, but don't get caught running short of fuel, as you will wait until morning to find an open station!
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Gear: Canon EOS 50D
