Notes: Combination of two shots with different exposure settings. The first photo foreground was dark with the sun properly exposed. The second photo foreground was visible but the sun and sky was blown out. Used photoshop to merge the photos. Need to be careful on slippery rocks and standing the tripod on the rocks are tricky too.
Best Season: Autumn
Description: Stood on the rocky coast near Acadia NP. Happened to have a bird flew toward the sun. Waited for the lighhouse light to turn directly to the camera.

whoa........... Gorgeous portrait. I've never seen a reddish egret. I'm about to move to Lakeland, FLA. this Summer. I hope to see one of these beauties first hand. So sad to know this one cannot...
