Sandbar Abstract

  • Title: Sandbar Abstract
  • State/Province/Region: Maryland
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Salisbury, Md.
  • Nearest Town: Nanticoke
  • Brief Directions: Take Nanticoke Road in Salisbury to Nanticoke.
  • Best Season: Winter
  • Description: This image took a full two years to capture. The sandbar constantly changes because the water is tidal. Wind is almost always present as well and the sandbar covered with fisherman. One cold Feb.night after many visits everything finally came together and I captured a series of abstract seascapes of varying colors as the sun set.
