  • Notes: Assateague is best known for it's herd of wild horses. They roam freely on the beaches, through the campgrounds and are often spotted on the side of the road eating grass.

  • Description: Heron located on the side of the road fishing in a small stream at Assateague National Park in Maryland. Normally Greta Blue's spook very easily but this guy was enjoying the attention and posed for quite a few shots.

    Another wonderful image of Owens Valley Laura! I'll be heading through the area tomorrow on my way up to June Lake and the like for quick photo trip. Hoping for a bit of snow!
