Sky In Combat

  • Title: Sky In Combat
  • State/Province/Region: Minnesota
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Town: Duluth
  • Description: I carry my camera everywhere because you never know when an opportunity for an image presents itself. Even with my camera close at hand I barely was able to get this shot as the sky and clouds were changing so quickly. At the left of the image you can see where the clouds come at an angle to the water. This tail moved across sky like a giant press and before I knew it the storm was upon me. I later was told that this was a perfect image of a low pressure system pushing into the area. It looked like the sun and the clouds were battling for a place in the sky and the clouds won.
