  • Description: This is the old dam that in the head waters of the Current River. They use to divert to water above the dam down the mill race to Montauk Mill.
  • Brief Directions: From interstate 44 take highway 63 south at mile marker 186 in Rolla Missouri. Go south on 63 for about 35 miles to highway 32 in Licking Missouri. Go east (left) on highway 32 for about 1/3 of a mile to highway 137. Make a right on highway 137 and follow it for about 2 ½ miles to highway “VV”. Make a right on “VV” and follow it for almost 10 miles until it ends at highway 119. Make a right and follow 119 about 1 mile to the entrance of Montauk State Park.
