  • Description: I was packing up my gear as it was closing time at the Missouri Botanical Gardens on a lovely fall day. Suddenly the sun struck the lake and it began to glow. I unpacked my gear, set up my tripod and had time to take two images before the light was gone.

    Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.

    Wow, just beautiful! The light is perfect and I love the curve of the tree and the lines of the canyon wall.
