  • State/Province/Region: Missouri
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Sprott Road

  • Brief Directions: Take exit 150 off I-55 and go to the east side of the Interstate. Take Rt. 32 W. for 8.6 miles and turn right onto Road C for 3.3 miles to Sprott Road, witch is a gravel road. Turn left on Sprott Road and go 1.8 miles to a parking area on the left. The trail starts from the parking area and is well marked. The hike to the falls is about 1/4 of a mile.
  • Notes: This is a wet weather waterfall so try to visit the location in the Spring after a good rainfall. This is a easy hike that has a deep descent to the canyon floor where the waterfall is located. Take your time photographing the falls and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful atmosphere of Hickory Canyon.

Thank you very much, Alena! Before planning your visit, do make sure to check park hours, as this area is not open to the public year-round.

Lovely composition of greenery and water motion, Alena. I especially like the textured waterfall curtain effect you have captured.
