Frosty Morning

  • Title: Frosty Morning
  • State/Province/Region: Montana
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Town: Stevensville
  • Brief Directions: From Missoula, Mt., take highway 93 south to Stevensville. Turn left onto Eastside highway and travel about six miles. This highway splits the Bitterroot valley down the middle.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: The weather man called for a very cold night with clear skies the next morning. I knew this was a likely mix for fog and frost to freeze to vegitation. I got up early and was rewarded with several keepers as the sun cleared the mountains and spilled into the valley.

Another wonderful image of Owens Valley Laura! I'll be heading through the area tomorrow on my way up to June Lake and the like for quick photo trip. Hoping for a bit of snow!
