Brief Directions: From Carson City, Nv (hwy 395) take hwy 50 west to Spooner junction. Continue south on Hwy 50 towards the city of South Lake Tahoe. Go through the tunnel and take the Cave Rock boat ramp turnoff (right).
Notes: A great spot for a dramatic winter sunset. Pull into the boat ramp parking lot and setup there or climb down the rocks to get at water level, there's also a small beach at the south end of the parking lot.
Best Season: Winter
Gear: Gloves, hat, parka and steady tripod

Thanks Lorenzo for the kind words on Oregon. I thought I'd share this shot also of Kauai. I know Laura is planning a trip there, so I tried to add some images for her to take a look at!
