  • Brief Directions: From Lordsburg NM take I-10 west to Steins Ghost Town. This formation is on the north side of the freeway.
  • Description: I made this image after a light snow storm in southern New Mexico, on Jan 4, 2013. In this image you can see an old rock quarry. Story has it that the Southern Pacific Railroad used the rock from this area in building part of the line between Tucson Az and Lordsburg NM.
