  • Brief Directions: Shot the night before the full moon July 2011, After some carful planning and some luck with the conditions things were just right to capture this single exposure of the moon rising with Lady liberty in the FG. Shot at ISO 2000 I was able to keep the shutter speed up to 1/100 and not get any motion blur on the rising moon.

    Very colorful capture David! I agree, it's a great place to visit/photograph. It's a shame that the "middle bridge" gave way. Would have been neat to work with the entire area. Still a fabulous...
