  • Brief Directions: Take canajoharie exit on NY thruway and take right on rt 5s. go through Canajoharie to Ft. Plain. Take left and follow rt 80 about 20 miles to Owen D. Young school on left.
  • Notes: You ca n actually photograph this area year round. Spring for flow. Autumn for green plants. Fall for color and winter for amazing frozen waterfalls. I have never seen a time when there was not sufficient water flow. This area is maintained by the local school students so please to not trample thier plants. There are many paths to get to the many waterfalls.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Gear: Tripod, water proof hiking boots

    Thanks Brian! I liked this point of view from the water. Will have a couple more different lighthouses from the water in a couple of days. I'm excitedly (as I'm sure many here on O.P. are) now...
