  • Description: The Blue Ridge Parkway in all it's glory. I shot this amazing autumn sunset from the Blue Ridge Parkway in the mountains of Western NC. The fall foliage has been great in some areas of the southern Appalachians this year, not so great in others. I've been after this shot for a couple weeks now making numerous trips to this location in hopes that I would get some great conditions. I was so pleased when it finally happened!
